Indigenous Resources
- The Good Minds Program ensures that MBQ is able to deliver counselling services, youth programming, circles (groups), grief recovery, ceremonies, elder support, addictions counselling, Child & Youth Wellness, and NNADAP prevention programming.
- First Nations Centres and Aboriginal Services in Canadian Universities. Most colleges and universities have Indigenous Student Support Workers, offer Financial Aid, Academic and Career Guidance and support Cultural Traditions.
- Financial Assistance: First Nations students can often have their fees supplemented through the First Nations but it is a Band-by-Band plan and individual to each Band. Post-Secondary Student Support Program Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) provides financial assistance to First Nations students who are enrolled in eligible post-secondary programs. For more information, contact your local Band office or ISC regional office.
